Curious about electricity, circuits, electrical safety and more?!? Join Challenger for a virtual night of FUN with electricity. 
 
When: Wed, Nov 4, 2020 at 5:30-6:30 PM
Where: We will connect thru Zoom
What: We will send you a small kit of experiment materials
Who:  This program is designed for grades 3-7 
How: FREE!!!  This event is free but pre-registration is required.  
 
Have the family join for a hands-on virtual family STEM night co-hosted by Challenger Learning Center of Maine & Central Maine Power.  Learn about cool topics such as atoms, conductors/insulators, static electricity!  Try out fun experiments and even make a battery out of metal and water to light up a LED.  Learn about different circuits, electricity in your home and electrical safety.
 
Challenger will mail you all the material needed for this hands-on night of electricity!

This session is FREE but pre-registration is required.  A registration will include a zoom link intended for one device.  There is no limit on how many family members can attend on a device.  Challenger will send 1 experiment kit per mailing address.  

Required:

  • Access to Zoom (smartphone, tablet, computer)
  • Pre-registration required (Use the online link below to register.)
  • Mailing address for experiment kit.
