Family STEM Night Featuring The Cosmic Journey of Jessica Meir
Join the Challenger Learning Center of Maine this November for a special Family STEM Night celebrating the inspiring journey of Maine astronaut Jessica Meir through storytelling, science, and hands-on exploration!
This free community event will feature acclaimed Maine author and illustrator Jamie Hogan and her children’s book, The Cosmic Journey of Jessica Meir, which shares the remarkable story of Jessica Meir’s path from curious young explorer to NASA astronaut.
Families will enjoy a live reading from Jamie Hogan and engaging STEM activities throughout the Challenger Center designed for children and adults to experience science, engineering, creativity, and space exploration together.
This family-friendly evening is perfect for aspiring astronauts, young readers, educators, and anyone inspired by Maine’s connection to space exploration and discovery.
