LEGO Building Prototypes with Hopper

  • Challenger Learning Center of Maine 30 Venture Way Bangor United States (map)

Dream it. Build it. Test it. Improve it!

How do you turn an idea into something that works? Join the Challenger Learning Center of Maine for a hands-on homeschool STEM event where students will explore building, coding, and prototype design using LEGO SPIKE.

Inspired by our Brick by Brick: Coding with SPIKE homeschool program, this event invites students in grades 3–6 to explore the process of bringing ideas to life. Through LEGO building and coding, students will have the opportunity to experiment with designs, test how things work, and think creatively about how to improve their creations.

Prototyping is all about trying ideas, learning from what happens, and making adjustments along the way. It's an opportunity for students to put their engineering and problem-solving skills to work while exploring the exciting connection between coding and design.

Important Information for Families

This is not a drop-off event. A parent or adult caregiver must remain with their child for the duration of the program.
